Place to trust for car repairs

PAUL and Roz of Wirral Small Cars have spent the first half of 2009 investing heavily in their workshop and repair department. The small car specialists based in The Mount  Heswall, can diagnose and repair all makes and models, taking on tasks that were, up until recently, the reserve of the main dealerships.Computerised diagnostic equipment has been highon the agenda, as most car owners will be able to understand. An orange engine-management warning light can be annoying, but is a worrying warning of a developing electrical fault that will need to be attended to.

Wirral Small Cars has just taken delivery of a state-of the-art computerised system, which can be plugged into the car, without the car even being in the workshop. All the information is sent from your car’s electronic control unit (ECU) via Bluetooth, and the technician can print off a report of exactly what is wrong with your car for you to see and discuss.

After the fault has been repaired, another printout can be done showing that all is now well under your bonnet. This enables you to see exactly the diagnostic process and be part of the process from start to finish, giving you peace of mind and reassurance that what has been repaired was necessary.

One fault commonly picked up by Wirral Small Cars is with the timing chain. Later plate Micras and Corsas can have problems with this issue, causing starting worries, engine management warnings and even engine failure.

Wirral Small Cars now has special tooling and knowledge to attend to these issues, saving you money on main dealer prices. Courtesy cars are available at no extra charge and they even offer a pick up and delivery service.
