Price-busting deals
Published Wirral News, Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
We are already one month into 2009 and Paul and Roz at Wirral Small Cars have hit the ground running, having their busiest January since establishing the business in 2001.
The combination of a family business, low road tax, low insurance and fuel-efficient vehicles seems to be exactly what the doctor ordered during these difficult times.
Paul and his alter-ego, “Captain Economy,” have been pulling out all the stops to have a range of over forty small, fuel-efficient, cars available for sale.
With prices starting at only £1,295 and going up to £5,995, there should be something to suit all pockets. All cars are provided fully serviced with new spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, engine oil, anti-freeze and screenwash.
Front and rear brakes are stripped, cleaned and checked and the cambelt is replaced if it is due.
The cars then receive a full 12 months MOT, full valet and a parts and labour guarantee.
Paul, Roz and “Captain Economy” are ably assisted by Ray Broom (sales), Keith Bleakley and Matthew Harper (workshop), along with Paul’s father and brother, Brian and Mike.
And the team have organised a range of price-busting services for the local car owner. An oil and filter change can now be done from £19.95 plus VAT, an interim service from only £49.50 plus VAT, and a full service from only £99.50 plus VAT.
The workshop team can also diagnose your engine management light faults and deal with all aspects of car repair, including cam belt replacements.
Courtesy cars are available free of charge and the Wirral Small Cars team will also pick up your car and drop it back when repaired, free of charge.
A full range of car valeting can also be done, with a mini valet starting at only £17.50.
